Our stay at this hotel was absolutely mind-blowing. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. They constantly checked in on us and were always ready to assist us with any needs we had. The view from the hotel was simply jaw-dropping, allowing us to marvel at the beautiful surroundings, including the stunning Polgolla dam. The value for money was exceptional, surpassing even the most expensive hotels we've stayed in before. The breakfast provided was excellent, offering a wide range of delicious options. The hotel's location at the top of a hill gave us a magnificent view of the sunrise. On arrival, we received a warm welcome from the owner, who was incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout our entire stay. The modern and luxurious room was spacious and impressive, with a huge balcony that had a double bed, table, and chairs, offering a perfect spot to relax while admiring the river and mountains. The hotel's proximity to the Temple Of The Tooth and the ease of transportation arrangements made our exploration of Kandy seamless and enjoyable. We were so impressed with our stay that we even extended our trip just to spend more time in this fantastic hotel. It's safe to say that this hidden gem deserves a spot in the next Lonely Planet guidebook. Don't hesitate to book a stay and experience this phenomenal hotel for yourself!

liked kandy, the hotel was wonderful small and upscale so close to the mahawali river. the location of the property was wonderful and stunning as we were just next door to beautiful mountains, sri lanka and romance hills and centre of kandy. had tea and goodies at the garden cafe, nestled 4 km of the venue. overall it was good sized with a stunning view.
The area was very very bad.

The beds and pillows were hella comfy, like sleeping on clouds. The place was sparklin' clean, I'm talkin' squeaky clean. The views of Kandy were jaw-droppin', Instagram-worthy for sure. And the service was 5-star, shoutout to Eland and his crew for bein' mad helpful and cool!
The only thing that would've made our stay even more epic is if the hotel had a swanky party corner with a DJ and sick beats. But hey, we still had a blast exploring Kandy and turnin' up with my squad!

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. the manager was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our experience even better. the service and food were excellent, and we couldn't ask for more. the location, although a bit challenging to reach by tuk-tuk, was away from the chaos of the city, providing a peaceful and serene atmosphere. the views from the dining area were breathtaking, overlooking the beautiful surroundings of outer Kandy. it was great value for money, and we would highly recommend Romance Hills Hotel. cons: Nothing to complain about, everything was great! 😊.

Great complementary drink for arrival, and staff were friendly and helpful with local information. Located in a beautiful valley, with good views from the rooms. the breakfast was perfect for start of a busy day.
The curtains were almost transparent so it was too bright to sleep early in the morning. the tuktuk rides were overpriced and the food was not worth the price.

the rooms were clean, nicely decorated, and had great facilities, including a working air-conditioner. the hotel staff were friendly, helpful, and made my stay comfortable. They even arranged a fantastic driver for a day trip to Sigiriya and the cave temple by tuk-tuk. the driver was kind, gentle, and drove safely. the hotel also provided excellent wifi compared to other hotels in Nuwara Eliya and Mirissa. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. Cons: Hard to think of anything 🤔.

If you're looking for a place with stunning natural scenery, this hotel is a great choice. the dining experience is top-notch, whether you're enjoying a meal in the cozy restaurant or savoring the view from your table under the stars. the location is perfect for exploring the local area, whether you're heading downtown or taking a scenic train ride. While some aspects of the hotel could use a little improvement, such as few ants in certain parts of the hotel, the rooms themselves are spacious and well-kept, and the service is truly exceptional.

The room was very stylish, clean and with a good bed that provided a comfortable sleep. Wifi worked quite well and staff were very friendly and helpful. The highlights of the hotel were definitely the shared patio providing an amazing view and the good breakfast served.
The location was a bit difficult to reach due to the steepness of the road. there were tiny ants in the spare bed during the night and no restaurant on site which made ordering food a hassle.
